About Apprentice Atlas
A free, open-source timetable of UK apprenticeship windows, with the evidence for every date.
Apprentice Atlas shows which employers run apprenticeship and degree apprenticeship programmes, when each one usually opens and closes, and the live roles you can apply for today. It is built for students deciding between university and an apprenticeship, and for the parents, carers and teachers who help them check that a date is real.
Every date is shown to everyone. Nothing is locked, blurred or kept for paying users, because there are no paying users: Apprentice Atlas is free for applicants, for good.
How it works
- Employer page or job feed
- We read it politely
- Date with its evidence
- You apply on time

We read employers’ own careers pages and job feeds (and, where configured, the government Find an apprenticeship service). Each programme window records how sure we are: a date the employer published, a month estimated from the employer’s wording, or our forecast from past cycles. A forecast is printed only as precisely as its evidence allows, and the source for every date is linked on the page it appears on.
Short summaries are built from structured facts by fixed rules. Nothing on this site is written by an AI model, and we never copy full job descriptions: you always apply on the employer’s own site.
Independent
Apprentice Atlas is not affiliated with any employer it lists, nor with the Department for Education or GOV.UK. Employers do not pay to appear and cannot pay to rank higher. If something about an employer is wrong, the takedown and corrections page is the quickest way to tell us.
Open
The code is open source, and so is the method: how we read sources, how statuses are worked out and how forecasts are made. See open source, data sources and the live source status.
