Data sources and attribution
Primary sources only: employers' own careers sites and job feeds, and the government's apprenticeship service.
We never copy from other aggregators or job boards. We read only public pages, never log in or accept click-through terms, obey robots.txt, and show facts, a short excerpt and a link back to the original advert. How each source is doing right now is on the status page; how our crawler behaves is on the bot page.

Fact files, logos and brand colours
Employer fact files (entry requirements, application stages, salaries, timelines) are researched by hand from each employer’s own pages. Each fact file lists its sources with the date we read each one, and anything the employer has not published stays empty rather than guessed.
Logos and brand colours appear only where the employer publishes them for this kind of use, on its own brand or press pages; we record where each came from. Otherwise we show the employer’s name in text.
Open Government Licence
Vacancy data from the Department for Education’s Find an apprenticeship service: Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Apprentice Atlas is not endorsed by the Department for Education and uses no government branding.
Open data
Everything on the calendar (employers, programmes, application windows with their evidence, and the openings we observed) is free to download and reuse as one JSON file, rebuilt daily, from the open data page.
Corrections and opt-out
Employers can ask us to correct or remove anything, or to stop reading their site, on the takedown page.
