Telecoms & Media2 apprenticeship types

Global, the media and entertainment group behind Heart, Capital, LBC, Smooth, Classic FM and Radio X, has run apprenticeships in its newsrooms and radio programming. In June 2022 it launched a broadcast journalism apprenticeship: 24-month roles in its Manchester and Birmingham newsrooms with a day a week studying for the NCTJ Diploma in Journalism with PA Training. Its former early-careers page described 15-month full-time apprenticeship contracts. No apprenticeship vacancies were listed on its careers site.
