Kainos, the Belfast-headquartered software and Workday services company, runs Earn as You Learn (EAYL), a four-year apprenticeship in Belfast where apprentices work four days a week and study one day a week for a Computing Systems degree at Ulster University, with fees paid. It is aimed at school leavers and career changers who do not already hold an IT or computing degree.
